As part of our ongoing commitment to addressing and preventing youth homelessness, we invite you to participate in a critical national survey designed to gather invaluable insights from communities like yours. Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the resources and training we provide as part of our Reaching Home-funded project, which aims to help communities implement evidence-based youth homelessness prevention interventions. This project is being carried out by A Way Home Canada (AWHC) in collaboration with the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness (COH), our Indigenous partners, select Community Entities, and dozens of organizations across Canada.
Your participation will help us understand the current landscape and develop tools and training to support Community Entities and organizations in implementing successful prevention strategies.
In appreciation of your time, two respondents will be randomly selected to receive complimentary in-person or virtual registration to the CAEH25 conference in Montreal this October!
The survey will ask you to provide your insights into the following topics:
- Local Dynamics: What are the current policies and governance structures affecting youth homelessness in your community?
- Awareness and Interest: How engaged are community organizations in preventing youth homelessness?
- Evidence-Based Practices: Are evidence-based prevention initiatives being implemented effectively?
- Training Needs: What additional training and resources would empower you and your organization to be more effective in your prevention efforts?
Completing the online survey will take only 10 to 15 minutes. Your feedback will be essential in developing a toolkit of resources tailored to support communities like yours in advancing their youth homelessness prevention efforts.
